ATSCheckPro ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered resume optimization service available at atscheckpro.com. We help job seekers improve their resumes for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility.

2. What Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Resume content — text or uploaded file submitted for analysis. Processed in real-time, never stored permanently.
- Job description — the job posting you paste for matching. Never stored permanently.
- Email address — collected at payment only, to deliver your license key.
- Profile photo — optional, used only for PDF generation, never stored on our servers.
- License key — stored securely to validate your lifetime access.
Information collected automatically
- Country — detected via IP or timezone to show correct regional pricing only.
- Browser and device type — for compatibility and error diagnosis only.
- Anonymous usage data — pages visited, features used. No personally identifiable information.
Payment information
We do not collect or store your credit card, UPI, or bank details. All payments are processed securely by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We only receive confirmation of a successful transaction and your email address.
3. How Your Data Flows — Step by Step
Step 1 — You paste your resume
Resume text exists only in your browser's memory. Nothing is sent to our servers yet.
Step 2 — You click Analyze
Resume + job description is sent over HTTPS to our API. Transmitted securely, never written to persistent storage.
Step 3 — AI processing (real-time)
Content is passed to Google Gemini AI API for analysis. Google does not use API data to train its models.
Step 4 — Results returned to you
Optimized resume and analysis returned to your browser. Our server holds data in memory only for the duration of the request (seconds).
Step 5 — Automatic deletion within 48 hours
Any processing logs are automatically purged within 48 hours. No permanent record of your resume content is ever kept by us or our AI provider.
4. Data Retention Schedule
- Resume content & job descriptions — Never stored. Deleted from memory immediately after processing. AI provider logs purged within 48 hours.
- Profile photos — Never stored on our servers. Used only client-side for PDF generation.
- Email address & license key — Stored securely for license validation. Deletable upon request at any time.
- Payment confirmation records — Retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years). Payment details never stored by us.
- Anonymous analytics — Retained up to 12 months to improve the service. Contains no personally identifiable information.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
- Google Gemini AI — AI processing. Google does not train models on API data by default.
- Razorpay — Secure payment processing. PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery for license key emails only.
- Vercel — Hosting and serverless infrastructure. SOC 2 Type II certified.
- Cloudflare — DNS, DDoS protection, and HTTPS termination.
- ipapi.co — Anonymous country detection for regional pricing only.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Period.
We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers listed above, strictly to operate the service
- When required by law, court order, or government authority
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of ATSCheckPro or its users

8. Security Measures
- All data transmitted using TLS 1.3 encryption (HTTPS enforced)
- API keys stored as encrypted environment variables, never in source code
- No resume content written to persistent storage or databases
- Serverless architecture — no persistent server stores your data between requests
- Cloudflare DDoS protection and WAF on all endpoints
- Regular security reviews of all third-party integrations
9. Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal, essential browser local storage to maintain your session and remember your license key status on your own device. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
ATSCheckPro is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. For material changes, we will notify users via email where possible.
